Director of Private Network Sales

Reporting to the Product Manager of Private Networks, the Director of Private Network Sales will contribute to the development and implementation of the Private Networks strategic sales plan. The candidate will take responsibility for the development and successful execution of the products sales plan.
Requirements
- Directing the presentation and integration of sales goals, revenue objectives and expense budgets, product/service offering, and sales channel; provide a continuing account analysis and updated monthly forecast to measure regional performance against these goals and objectives.
- Directing and reviewing individual regional sales objectives and coordinating the development of detailed plans, strategies and contingencies to ensure the establishment of realistic sales budgets and commensurate with company profit objectives.
- Participating actively in selling to target accounts and building sales momentum; in a hands-on manner, deliver significantly to the achievement of national sales targets.
- Developing yearly and monthly forecasts to ensure effective control of sales results and analysis of variables and possible sales trade-offs to maximize volume and revenue; provide updates on all parameters needed for service delivery, marketing analysis and overall product/service marketing.
- Formulating and integrating all regional plans into an overall sales budget; collaborate with other team members to ensure from a sales standpoint, that all goals, policies, and projections and other controllable variables are achievable and commensurate with their respective plans.
- Formulating and gaining approval of sales policies that are consistent with overall corporate policies, clearly establishing the mission and practices of all sales efforts.
- Developing and nurturing strong relationships with targeted partners; effectively manage these partners to drive revenues while avoiding conflicts with established direct selling efforts.
- Building and managing a small but incredibly dynamic field sales organization, ensuring they obtain the planned sales targets, while staying within monthly and annual expense budgets.
- Recruiting and retaining effective and highly motivated sales professionals that fit with the proactive and results-oriented culture.
- Conducting performance reviews of sales programs, including customer satisfaction measurements and sales analysis.
- Developing retention strategies to ensure low customer attrition and a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Establishing effective communication and working relationships across the senior management team and the entire organization.
- Maintaining focus on company mission, values, goals and objectives and ensures all actions and activities undertaken by the Private Network sales division are consistent with strategic direction.
Qualifications
- Has managed both in house and field sales personnel.
- Has developed and executed tactical sales plans including quotas and account objectives.
- Has managed phone sales.
- Is highly organized and has very effective time management skills.
- Is a demonstrated leader among employees.
- Is highly computer literate and uses sales database tracking programs.
- Strong negotiating skills and capacity.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Equally strong listening skills.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years industry.
- Minimum 5 years, preferably 8, as a sales manager.
